This project was pretty time-consuming and working with paper was pretty new for me. The only paper engineering i have done was during my GCSE graphic design and product design type things.
I enjoyed working with the starting point being the material itself and a few simple methods of folding/scoring as shown by Richard Sweeney. I like working in this way, starting from materials and just seeing what happens. Although it is still considered, the designs and outcomes are a product of previous outcomes or experiences with the material, so as a designer you are well-informed, and the more you do the better informed you are as to the limitations of the material.
I could have spent alot more time on this project though, which i regret. Although i am pleased with the final piece i believe it could be alot better and i could have learnt more from this module.
